Masarrat Misbah

Masarrat Misbah, born on November 25th, 1959, in Karachi, Pakistan, spent her formative years completing her education in her hometown. Among the plethora of salons in the country, one name stands out on an international scale – Depilex. Synonymous with health and beauty in Pakistan, its reputation owes much to Masarrat’s iconic status in the field. Over the course of 40 years, her unwavering commitment, dedication, and remarkable skill have earned her a place of trust and reverence.

Reflecting on her eventful journey, spanning four decades, Masarrat witnesses her profound impact on the world of Depilex. Her innovative approach and visionary concepts have not only propelled her success but have also catalyzed the growth of the beauty business in Pakistan, contributing significantly to the flourishing realms of Pakistani fashion and beauty. Pioneering the industry, Depilex embarked on a mission to redefine the landscape. Masarrat, with her extensive beauty therapy training, remains dedicated to furthering her education, ensuring the knowledge she acquires is imparted to her team and students.

Undertaking the challenging task of introducing and popularizing new products in the market demands finesse, a feat Masarrat has mastered gracefully. Her leadership has not only forged a path but also brought transformation, solidifying her as a beacon in the realm of beauty and business.

Redah Misbah

Redah Misbah is an accomplished professional in the field of beauty and cosmetology. She completed her studies abroad in 2008 in London and gained expertise in cosmetic science and cosmetology. Her educational journey includes obtaining professional degrees from renowned institutions such as Vidal Sassoon and Ray Cochrane Beauty School, where she graduated with honors.

One of her notable achievements was representing Ray Cochrane Beauty School at the CIDESCO convention held in Greece in 2006. This suggests that she was recognized for her skills and knowledge within the beauty industry even before taking on her leadership role.

Additionally, Redah Misbah expanded her expertise by acquiring a professional diploma in special effects makeup from Joe Blasco in Orlando, Florida. This specialization in special effects makeup demonstrates her commitment to diverse aspects of the cosmetology field.

Redah’s aspiration to take over her mother’s Beauty Empire has been realized, as she assumed the role of Director and Head Creative Stylist at Depilex in 2009. Leveraging her professional educational background, along with her keen eye for quality and style, she has been successful in leading the brand.

Upon her return from London, Redah Misbah has been instrumental in curating various artistic bridal and fashion shoots, many of which have gained recognition in Pakistan’s top beauty and fashion magazines. She has also taken charge of hair and makeup teams during fashion weeks, showcasing her leadership skills and creative prowess. Furthermore, she has conducted individual hair and makeup shows for Depilex, highlighting her ability to craft and execute innovative beauty concepts.

Starting her journey at the age of 20, Redah Misbah has achieved remarkable milestones in the beauty and cosmetology industry. Her education, experience, and creative vision have positioned her as a prominent figure in the world of beauty, both nationally and internationally.

Nighat Misbah

Nighat Misbah, a graduate of MBBS from Sindh Medical College in Karachi, embarked on her career as a medical professional. However, her journey took a creative turn, leading her to Depilex, where she flourished as a remarkable makeup artist. Armed with makeup courses from prestigious institutes across Europe and the US, her medical background added a unique dimension to her expertise. This blend allowed her to deeply comprehend her clients’ needs and deliver exceptional makeup, skincare, and consultation services.

As the head of the Karachi salon and institute, Nighat has effectively overseen operations and served as the regional leader for Depilex branches in Karachi. Her extensive portfolio is a testament to her versatility, reflecting her ever-evolving style. Dr. Nighat Misbah’s dynamic career path showcases her ability to seamlessly transition from medicine to the world of beauty, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.

Hafsa Haseeb

Hafsa Haseeb, a seasoned HR consultant, is a fresh addition to the Depilex team. Since 2013, she has taken charge of customer care and institute operations at Depilex Bahadurabad, working closely alongside Nighat Misbah. Guided by Nighat’s mentorship, Hafsa has crafted impactful strategies for salon enhancement, personnel growth, and efficient vendor management.

Hafsa’s educational journey led her to Penn State University, where she specialized in labor employment relations. Armed with this knowledge, she ventured into the corporate realm, contributing her expertise to renowned Fortune 500 companies in the US such as Cole Haan, NIKE, and McKesson. During her time in the US, Hafsa’s influence extended to OPEN Atlanta, an organization dedicated to Pakistani entrepreneurs and professionals. She actively organized business conferences and held significant leadership roles within OPEN.

Hafsa’s dedication earned her a coveted spot in City and Guilds’ TOT training in Sri Lanka, conducted by Skills International. The successful completion of this course led Depilex Institute Karachi to host City and Guilds Diplomas and Awards, an honor showcasing Hafsa’s commitment to elevating industry standards.

Depilex Institute Karachi stands as Sindh’s pioneering platform for international beauty programs, thanks in part to Hafsa’s coordination efforts with IDSP, ILO, and the Vocational Training Institute in Korangi. With her graduation from the esteemed Paul Mitchell School in the USA, Hafsa has now taken on the mantle of leading Depilex operations in the USA. Her journey is a testament to her expertise and dedication in fostering growth and excellence within the beauty industry.
