Founded in the early 2000s, the Depilex Smileagain Foundation (DSF) is our most powerful humanitarian initiative — supporting survivors of acid and burn violence, primarily women. What began with one encounter between Masarrat Misbah and a young acid burn survivor has become a life-changing movement.
DSF provides:
- Medical care and reconstructive surgeries (through local and international doctors)
- Psychological counseling & group therapy
- Vocational training in beauty and other skills
- Employment opportunities, sometimes within Depilex salons
- Advocacy & awareness for stronger legal protections
To date, DSF has helped hundreds of survivors reclaim their confidence, independence, and futures. We proudly commit a portion of our profits, training facilities, and volunteer hours to this cause. Every Depilex visit contributes to turning “tears into smiles.”
